The Nowshera City is situated at a magnificent point in the province of Khyber-Pukhtoon-Khwa (KPK). It has got a central location as it is closely connected with various districts of KPK and Punjab. If you observe the map closely, you will realize that the Peshawar City lies on its West, bordered by Mardan City in the North, Charsadda  City is populated at its North-Western side. On the North East, you will find the beautiful district Swabi, Kohat District begins from the South border.

These are all the bordering areas to the KPK districts, whereas in the East, Nowshera City is connected to the Attock, a prominent district of Punjab province. The Nowshera City proves to be a gateway of the KPK Province via the Sher Shah Souri Road (also known as the Grand Trunk Road).

If you are planning to visit any district of KPK via Motorway (the high speed and multiple lane highway) , you will miss the great city of Nowshera because the Motorway is routed aside. Still it is about 15-20 km away from Rashakai Interchange, or you can reach Nowshera using Swabi-Ambar exit, Karnal Sher Khan interchange, or Wali Khan Interchange.
